The School Library is located on the 3rd floor of the Old Building of the Faculty of Philosophy (office 314). Its collection includes over 23,000 books and printed documents, which mainly cover the fields of Literature, Linguistics, Teaching Methodology, Pedagogy and Translation. There is also material on German culture, philosophy and psychology. The Library has also audio-visual and information material, such as encyclopaedias and bibliographies. There is a 15-day lending scheme and a reading room inside the library.
The library is affiliated with the AUTH Library System and Information Center: www.lib.auth.gr (Collective catalogue (OPAC)) and provides all the services and tools offered by the AUTH Library System, such as:

- De Gruyter e-book collection, which includes 247 titles in literature and linguistics, as well as hundreds of free and open access books. This is a donation by the German Embassy.

The classification system followed is that of the Library of Congress (LC), according to which the books are registered by subject. This is the system which has been also adopted by the entire library system of AUTH.
